Holy Spirit Cross Review + #PinAWin Sweepstakes

If you've been following for a while, you might remember the review I wrote back in April of this gorgeous Swarovski crystal rosary bracelet:

I was honored to receive an email from Discount Catholic Products recently asking if I would like to review another of its products, this Holy Spirit Oak & Pewter Wall Cross:

Isn't it lovely?  When it came in the mail, I knew exactly where it would go - in Lucia's room over her crib:

When we lived in North Carolina, we had a crucifix hanging over Lucia's crib, but we haven't been able to find it since we moved back.  We know it's in a box somewhere...we're just not sure which box.  It made me a bit uneasy without a cross in Lulu's room and this cross really made her room complete.  When we do find the crucifix, we'll move this cross above our front door.

What sets this cross apart?  I find the combination of wood and pewter to be a novel mixed-media take on a traditional cross.  It's also unique to find a Holy Spirit cross with more than one dove.  The craftsmanship is high-quality, much better than I would have expected for the $24 price tag.

This cross would make a lovely gift, especially for a Confirmation.  I received a Holy Spirit cross for my confirmation, but it was very delicate and dainty.  This one would be nice for either a girl or a boy because of the natural wood.
