Cultivating a Home with Welcoming Scents

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Triad Retail Media for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I never paid much attention to the scent of my home while I was in college, but after I got married, it suddenly became more important.  Part of my job as a wife, especially as a stay-at-home mom, is to cultivate a warm household for my family and a welcoming environment for my husband to come home to.  One of the easiest ways to do this is for my husband to be greeted at the door with an inviting scent.  Earlier in our marriage, I would light candles and was delighted that he would always comment on how good they smelled.  Now that we have a baby, I’m looking for something less dangerous, not just for when she starts crawling and might bump into tables and knock over the candle but also because I have so many things to think about when I’m getting Lucia out the door that I’m afraid I might forget to blow out the candles.

The new Glade® Expressions™ fragrance mist and new Glade® Expressions™ oil diffuser seem like the perfect solutions.  I have seen non-flame scent products before, but am especially drawn to Glade® Expressions™ products because they are attractive and I feel confident having them sit out in the open in my home.  I have especially wanted to try the oil diffuser, because it doesn’t require electricity (so it can easily be put on a high shelf away from the baby) and the scent is supposed to last up to 30 days.  Not only is that safer than the candles I usually use, it’s also requires less maintenance, I can set it on a shelf and enjoy the fragrance for a month without having to do anything else.

Both the oil diffuser and the fragrance mist come in great fragrances.  In my opinion, the Fuji Apple and Cardamom Spice is a pleasant scent for all the time (and therefore for the oil diffuser) and the Cotton & Italian Mandarin is perfect for the fragrance mist as a quick refresher for any room.  I tend to be very picky about which scents I like in my home, so I’m often hesitant to buy new scents; however, I feel comfortable trying these new Glade® products because they come with a fragrance satisfaction guarantee.  If unsatisfied, you can get your money back by mailing the original UPC and purchase receipt along with this form within 30 days of your purchase.  And if that didn’t make trying the new products easy enough, there are also coupons for Glade® Expressions™ that can be coupled with Walmart’s low prices.
