Three years ago today...
we went to Mass,
doodled together,
ate dessert,
hung out with some friends,
dressed up like cartoon characters,
and our lives changed forever.
Three (soon to be four) out-of-state moves, a toddler, a Ph.D., a yearlong job search, and many, many small moments later, I can honestly say I love my husband more today than ever before. And I have this inkling that tomorrow I'll love him even more. Our wedding day was fun, but it can't compare to our marriage.
Oh, and what do you know, I just shared five of my favorite wedding photos so I'm linking up with Hallie's Five Favorites at Moxie Wife.
Congratulations!! You have a lovely family :).
ReplyDeleteI'm passing on the Super Sweet Blogger Award to you. No pressure to "do" anything with it if you don't want to (or don't have time - moving is hard work!) Just for fun :). http://frankacademy.blogspot.com/2013/07/super-sweet-blogging-award.html
Thanks, Claire. I will go check it out!
DeleteThis is sooooo cute. Congrats on your anniversary! Safe travels!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Michaela!
DeleteHappy Anniversary!!! I love your pictures- it looks like such a joy-filled day! And what a way to celebrate your third anniversary with a move! Still keeping you all in my prayers :)
ReplyDeleteWe've we've moved every year in July around our anniversary. Our first anniversary was actually spent driving from IN to NC. I'm glad we can spend the day together today!
Deletecongratulations, dear one!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Jen!
DeleteCongrats! And our third anniversary was also spent getting ready for a move. I love David's white tux (you don't see that too often nowadays!).
ReplyDeleteThe groomsmen wore blue suits, but the ring bearer wore I matching white tux (technically, it's "ivory" like my dress) that was so darling! David had a friend that got married a year after us and really wanted to wear a white tux because he loved David's. His wife said "no" and said just because I let David get away with it, she was not! Um, actually it was my idea! I love it too!
DeleteCongratulations and Happy Anniversary! I just love your wedding pictures! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Caitlin!
DeleteHappy Anniversary! Your wedding looked beautiful! I love photos like the first one where you are both "kneeling before God in the Eucharist." There's just something so beautiful about it. I hope you guys had a wonderful day celebrating your love!
ReplyDeleteWe have a few of those pictures in front of the raised Eucharist and you are right, they are so very special! We had a great day, thank you!
DeleteThis sooo cute!! Happy Anniversary, wishing you two all the best:)
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary, Mandi! I have to say, my favorite of the photos is you doodling together. I love that he is looking at the camera and you are gazing at him. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThat is actually my husband's FAVORITE picture from that day, and one of my favorites as well!
DeleteA little late, but congratulations! I can't wait to meet you all after you've settled from your fourth move :) If you need any help, I'd be happy to lend a hand!
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary! I love your pictures!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary, Mandi!
